1. Do providers really pay no costs or fees to use Care 24/7 services?
True. Providers truly pay no up-front fees. There is no equipment to buy. Care 24/7 charges no integration or consulting fees to establish CCM, TCM, and CAS services. Care 24/7 is a subscription-based service and payment is based on the number of patients served. When Care 24/7 is able to serve a high volume of patients and generate our Medicare-auditable reports…everybody wins.
Care 24/7 does offer its Patient-Centered Medical Home consulting service. For minimal consulting fees, PCMH advisors will help providers achieve PCMH-certification from the National Committee for Quality Assurance. This will allow providers to bill private insurers for the same Care 24/7 services currently reimbursed by Medicare.
2. Does Care 24/7 provide actual medical consultations?
Care 24/7 is not a healthcare provider. We do not provide actual medical consultations at this time. Our staff can only advise you on care plan and instructions from your existing providers and offer general health and wellness advice.
3. Can Care 24/7 staff visit a patient at home?
All of our Wellness Coordinators are only available via phone or the Internet at this time.
4. Is patient information safe with Care 24/7?
Care 24/7 is compliant with HIPAA, and meets or exceeds industry standards for information security, privacy protections, and safeguarding personal health- and identity-related information.
5. Is Care 24/7 an electronic health record (EHR) company?
Care 24/7 does not offer an EHR solution. However, Care 24/7 does have a unique software platform specifically designed to manage chronic conditions via the patient’s care plan. Care 24/7 is a health information service provider (HISP) and is able to integrate with a variety of major EHR systems via direct secure messaging.
6. Can clients use the Care 24/7 software platform only?
Care 24/7’s full, subscription-based service offers a network of nurses, specifically trained to use the Care 24/7 platform to administer CCM, TCM, and CAS services. However, if providers or other clients wish to furnish their own clinical staff, Care 24/7 can provide the training and software licenses to deliver these same services.
